Q:Can I become a donor?

Q:How long does it take for the entire egg donation process?
A: It takes one month for the health assessment which is verified in the National Health Service. The course of treatment begins on the second day of menstruation, and lasting 2 weeks.
Q:What do you need to do and pay attention when you donate eggs?
A: 1. Medicine, herbs, hormone, diet pills, or sleeping pills should be suspended until the end of the treatment. There are no special restrictions on general daily activities, but please act as normal and eat properly. 2. Regular follow the order by your doctor to check the growth status and number of follicles. 3. A: The operation of egg retrieval is done under the general anesthesia which makes body painless as sleeping. Before operation, it is necessary to fast for 8 hours and no water drinking. The process uses the vaginal ultrasound to aspirate the follicles by the aspiration needle. The laboratory technician finds the eggs under the microscope immediately. The procedure takes 15 to 20 minutes and no suture is done. After operation, you don’t need to be admitted to the hospital. You can leave hospital if you have no discomfort. Take oral medication for 2-3 days by doctor's advice.
Q:Are there risks or side effects in the donation procedure?
A: Egg donors need ovulation injections and egg retrieval surgery, so that local discomfort or allergic reaction may occur caused by drugs. Few people have "Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome (OHSS)". The medication can be carefully used to reduce the incidence of related adverse effects.
Q:Will you have an early menopause after donation?
A: Donation of eggs will not affect the existing of menopause.
